The National Landlords Code of Excellence (NLCE)

The National Landlords Code of Excellence (NLCE) is a landlord accreditation scheme which aims to ensure good quality safe accommodation is provided in the Private Rented Sector

The NLCE enables landlords to have all the knowledge they need to ensure their properties are managed well, are of a decent standard and comply with all legislation.

It builds bridges between landlord, tenant and local councils and promotes safe and desirable properties for good tenants.

Individual Landlords, Letting Agents and Companies can become accredited.

The NLCE stands apart from the rest as it offers an online property repair reporting system along with access to other key legal services a landlord may need,  including ‘right to rent’ checks, rent guarantee insurance, legally compliant Tenancy Agreements amongst many other things. There is no annual fee, just the cost of a comprehensive training day and you are accredited for 5 years as long as you attain your CPD points (continuing professional development).
